Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actor and producer. She has been recognized for her stellar performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, like an Oscar for the movie Piano. The accomplished actress started her career as an actor by performing on stage, by performing in a myriad of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Acting has always been her passion. In the fifth grade she was cast as Helen Keller in an original show. As a result of having Mumps, she was blind on the other side the ear. This did not stop her ambition to be an actress. When she was a teenager She studied acting and eventually moved into New York City. In a chance encounter she was trapped in an elevator along with the playwright Beth Henley and the two worked together on the Broadway Crimes of the Heart that made Hunter's debut. Hunter relocated into Los Angeles and tried to find films parts. In Swing Shift, she landed an appearance as a supporting character. In the three decades since her time in Los Angeles she has appeared in many films, TV shows and movies. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and also the Women in Film Lucy Award.
