Dua Lipa is an English artist and performer born on 22nd August 1995 from London United Kingdom. After a stint as a fashion model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album entitled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. It climbed to the third spot in the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released and included Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). It also rose at number 6 in the United States. Lipa won her Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Act and her album has been certified platinum across the globe in a variety of countries. Dua Lipa, who was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London Born on the 22nd of August, 1995. Through her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian descent. It is also possible to trace her ancestry in Peja from Kosovo. The grandparents of Lipa were both historians. She is the sister of Rina Lipa, and has a younger brother named Gjin. The singer released her debut single New Love in August of 2015.
